Seem like i found the answer..
Get a OBD2 cable to either usb or serial connector
a laptop running volvo fcp v1.3 (this is a volvo scan tools emulator)

And away we go..can access all of what the volvo dealer can..and reset any lights..

just ordered the cable..(its special for volvo)

i'll report how it goes....
