Re: I need to turn of my DRL

The little switch does NOT exist in the canadian car. Either you have to buy the US switch...or do what I did: remove the switch and rip out the mechanism that prevents tampering. Then you can position the slider switch on the back to shut off the DRL's. (When disassemling the switch, work carefully so as not to lose the little pieces that will fall out. A pair of tweezers would be handy.) You will have a little hole where the restrictor post was (and the screw-slot switch would be) in the US model.

Switch is easy to remove. Take off the knob, then with padded needlenose, gently extract the switch. It's a friction fit.
