Tire Wear & Ball Joints 850 1996

I have a question regarding tire wear and ball joints.

I managed to wear out a set of Yokohama Z rated tires since Feb. (15-20K) I rotated them front to back in mid summer and at that time the fronts were worn down to the wear stripes and both tires had excessive wear on the inside. Last week when I put the Blizzaks on I noticed the fronts were again worn to the wear stripes and the left tire had cords showing on the inside. The right one had excessive wear on the inside also but not as bad as the left.

I have noticed a slight pulling to the left but it did not seem to be bad enough to bother with. I have an appointment to have the alignment checked next week.

I have noticed several messages regarding ball joint wear on 850's with around 100K miles. I have 147K on mine. Does a worn BJ show up as tire wear? Is there a way to check for BJ wear?
