na 850 engine performance 850 1995

Found a nearly perfect 95 855 GLT with 161k on the clock. Dealer serviced. Runs and looks almost like new. The interior looks new. Driver's seat cable does need to be fixed.

My question - Without modifications, how can I improve the performance of this engine? I think I will tune it up, but is there something else I can do that really works? FCP Groton is selling a complete Volvo tune-up kit for non-turbos. I imagine that might help?

I'd like to keep it as stock as possible. Maybe different computer/chip, wires, plugs, filter, coil etc...

Thanks,
Jim
