Thermostat replacement V70-XC70 2004

It seems that V70 from '02 onward use the entire housing change out with the coolant temp sensor included.
The 850's and the V70 from '98 to '00 (the 850 platform) and the V70 from '01 (first P2 platform)allow a thermostat only change out.
Has anyone changed out only the t-stat on a V70 from '02 and later? If so where did you get it?
