Crankshaft Position Sensor Replacement S80 2002

Took car in for 105k service a week ago (non-turbo version) and was told that it looks like Crank (Impulse) position sensor is starting to go bad. My wife calls this morning to say it had a hard time starting and she got a yellow warning message. Picking up the part from the same repair shop, and wondering how hard it is to replace myself? I do my own oil, plug, air filter, brake pad maintenance. The toughest problem with most sensors seems to be physical accessibility. I think I've heard it should be around the top of the crank.
