Auto tranny clunk S70 1999

When my '99 S70 is warmed up and standing still, there is a barely audible but very palpable clunk/thud when moving the shifter from reverse to neutral. Does not occur moving in the other direction, or when the car is cold. Car is still under warranty, but it's a hundred miles to the nearest dealer. Any ideas on diagnosis or pucker factor ?? Thanks.
