Re: HELP- key will not turn in ignition lock S60 2001

yes the lock cyl comes keyed to your car. as far a do it yourselfer its not a easy job and it requires special tools, first you need to take apart the shrowd covering the columb, then you need to disable the air bag system.you then need to remove the steering wheel and take of the contact ring being carful not to turn the clockspring in side then you need a right angle drill to drill the securety bolts then you need a bolt extractor to remove the bolts that hold the lock cylinder assembly to the columb and take apart the lock cyl. assembly and antenna ring for the securety system. assemble in reverse order OR just to the car to the dealer and have it done.
