How do I fix B5: 212 code (airbag connection) 850 1995

I found that the 58 pin white harnass connector was slightly hinged off.

It wont snap in like the red and black besides it, the latch won't latch.

However, I cleaned up the connection, and pushed it as tight as I could,

and now all the lights, and my cigarette lighter are all back to normal.

EXCEPT...

I have an SRS error light on the dash, and a B5 = 212 = Driver Air bag sensor open on the ECU. that wont go away.

I pulled the airbag off and cleaned the connection, and cleaned the inner

hub contact on the steering wheel... still have a stubborn 212 code.

What is the debug procedure now? I don't want to go to the proctologist...

err I mean dealer service.

thanks
