Navtech V70-XC70 2004

I just purchased my third used Volvo wagon since 1993. It's hard to believe how people sell them with 80k on them like their used up. I'ts a loaded 2004 V70 T5 wagon. So far once again I'm very happy with it. It has a navigation system built in that won't pop up out of the dashboard. If I press the on steering wheel controls a nice voice says there is no destination set. The gentleman I bought it from told him the dealer said it needed a new "module". I searched the internet for all the key words that usually work for me but can find no reference on how to remove the unit. If anyone has any knowledge of this Navtech product or where I could get removal instructions I would greatly appreciate it.
