Heads off! Now what? 850

Good job without breaking off any bolts. Cleaning the RTV gunk off the valve cover: anything that doesn't scratch. A cloth with lots of WD40, kerosene, or any other mild solvent. I also suggest using Volvo's sealer for reapplying, just so that the new glue doesn't grip so tight that trying to get it off again results in a bent valve cover. Use a small foam roller to apply it thinly and evenly.

Call some of your local garages for recomendations about milling and valve replacement for the aluminum head. This is a job that is usually farmed out to a precision shop.

Are you thinking about replacing the valve seals (20)? Check them for wiggle room.
