Possible purchase ... 850 1994

There is a '94 850 w/ 99,000 miles for $1,250 in my town.

It has been state inspected.
I am attracted by the low mileage and the fact that my '93 240 has 182,000 on it.

I have a used S60 that I love ... I assume it is the same basic engine.

What quirks are there with this 850 series?
Anything that I should look into beyond the basics?

Timing belts change at what intervals on the 850?

I passed by at night ... do not know what shape the body is in ... did not see if it was a turbo etc...

Any comments on the 850 are appreciated.

Seeking third car as son is getting license soon.
