s80 sunroof not working S80 1999

I'm working with my cousin on his 1990 S80. The sunroof isn't working properly. You can open it, but cannot close it all the way. The sunroof stops at about 90% closed position....that's it. The motor sounds like it's fine. Is there some sort of manual override to get the thing to close? Better yet...any ideas on how to fix? Thanks in advance for your help.
