Yes, I did see more negative than positive comments across the web about the S40. But I think that there is some validity to the silent majority too. I always do my own repairs and am looking for other input since there don't appear to be many repair manuals (excepting Volvo factory).

There does seem to be common complaints regarding electrical issues.
I guess I'm just looking for other perspectives from people here since this is a board that I've been active with for years. Kind of get to know the players and how they think.

It is an optioned up turbo. Way too many gadgets for me as you can see from the cars I drive, but try telling that to an 18 year old!
