DIY boost controller for 850? 850 94

I was recently searching the web for a boost controller suitable for the 850 when I came upon this incredible repository of tech info:

In particular, I direct your attention to two articles:

They can be found near the bottom of the page and are entitled "Eliminating negative boost," and "The Audi's DIY boost control." I recommend that they be read in that order. Note that each article has several parts. Question - does anyone think the boost control described can be adapted to the 850? Before you jump to conclusions saying "The volvo's boost is controlled electronically," note that so is the car in the article - an Audi A4. Comments?
