Moaning noise 850 1996

A few months back I saw messages regarding a moaning noise that I think was cured by changing the tranny oil. I did a search and cannot find anything related. At the time I thought, "sounds crazy" but now I have the same problem. My "moaning" started a few weeks ago and is only there for a minute or so in the morning (not cold weather related) just after starting up. It increased in loudness as I accelerate. After a mile or two and I am up to highway speed the noise is gone. It's there again when I start up and leave work but is gone by the time I am out of the parking lot. It seems to go away quicker. It is becoming more noticeable and is lasting linger week by week.

Any info on what cured others moaning noises would be appreciated.

Car is an 850 Turbo with 149K on the clock.

TIA

Tom
