I just did my brakes and clutch. When I went to push

in the clutch it went staright to the floor. I used

a Motiv Products bleeder. So, I took a second shot at

the clutch. I topped up the reservoir and just pressurized

it (no need to add fluid to the bleeder since I would not be

moving a lot of fluid through it). Then, I was very careful

to only open the bleed valve a bit and then closed it tightly.

On my first try, my wrench fell off when I tightened it; second

try I was very careful. On the second try it worked fine and

I have the clutch back. My theory is the valve should not be

opened too far and you have to be careful with it. So, I did

not have to reverse bleed it.

Oh, on the first try I used a slightly larger drain tube then

the second try. The larger one fit over the bleed valve easier

but may not have been air tight. The second hose was smaller and

it took me a good 10 minutes to get it over the bleed valve.

So, I guess the hose used on the first try could have leaked

some air back into the slave.
