Help - Lower Control Arm Replacement Procedure! V70-XC70

Here is what I did on my 01 V70 T5

- I took the whole rotor+steering knuckle assembly off the strut. This require disconnecting the drive shaft from the rotor

- Then I just drop it on the A-ARM (holding it in the none rotor parts so it won't spin on you). Since this assembly is heavy, I just let gravity do the work and help it by push down as far as it will go.

- Then I insert the drive shaft back into the hub + connect it to the strut (no need to compress the strut at all)

Make sure you tighten the drive shaft to spec. Otherwise, you will get noises. More info at
