Drivetrain whine or noise 850 1997

Between about 35 and 70 MPH there is a low freq whining noise coming from the drivetrain whoes frequency changes with speed. I have new pilots on the front and suspect some bearing someplace between the transmission to whell bearings. I cant tell if its on both sides or not.

Anyone know what this might be?

I have driven the car very hard - 60,000 miles.

It kind of sounds the way trucks sometimes whine when you see them on the freeway.

855T Wagon

thanks in advance
