Re: weak defroster performance 850 1997

Less than adequate performance?? That's putting it mildly. My dealer told me that I have to wash the inside of the windshield with lemon juice. That works for an hour -- tops!

Before this car, I drove a 1992 Ford Taurus with 235,000 miles. How I loved seeing where I was going! Plus the car was cheap to fix and maintain.

By the way, what do Volvo owners do when the snow starts? Park the cars in the garage until spring?

I can't wait to upgrade back to a Ford. European cars are about as good as European "rock". Hey, at least the Volvo hasn't caught fire spontaneously like the only Volkswagen I ever owned.
