Anything particular for a long trip in the winter? V70-XC70 1999

Happy New Year to all.

Preparing a long trip from NYC to Ann Arbor, MI in the coming week. Have never done such a long driving during a winter time. Don't expect a major storm according to the broadcasting; but I am heading to a colder northwest. The car has winter tires on. It will be pretty much loaded. Should I inflate the tires to 36 psi front and 41 psi rear to enhance fuel economy and maybe also handling on a mostly highway trip? Besides fluid checks, is there anything particular that should be done for such a long trip in the winter?

Thanks.

Paul
