1994 850 T no start

My 1994 850 will not start. There is fuel pressure at the fuel rail, there are no codes on the code reader and the A-6 diagnostic readout does not respond. I removed the ECU and left it out for an hour, reinstalled it and the engine started and ran fine for one day. The next day it didn't start so I did it again and it still won't start. It has left me stranded two times in the past month. I towed it home but can't find another ECU to replace the one I have. I have another one from a 95 850 but that doesn't work . What else is left to check. I changed the coil, the cap and rotor is new, the plugs are new. The fact that there is no out put at A-6 makes me think that the ECU is toast. HELP!!!
