problem with starting and weird sound..need assistance 850 95

anyone,

I did not drive the car for the last 3 days and today when I started the car..it took a little longer to catch the ignition and once it started I would hear a screeching sound from under the car or from the hood..sound that you would hear if you turn the ignition key by mistake and car was still running....worst off all...later today it did not even start for a while after stopping for a couple of minutes..it did not catch the ignition...never clicked even....then .after sitting for a while it finally started....

anybody have any ideas on the problem cause..
