What actually is the "special tool' for resetting the service light? 850 1997

I just ordered the $122 scan software from www.obd-2.com that is advertised to reset the service light on the '96 and later Volvos. I actually ordered it because the little reader I use now doesn't seem to read all of the codes, the reset is just a bonus. Just another toy to play with, really, but please don't tell anyone else that!
