Is replacing the clutch a viable do it yourself project??? 850 1994

My manual transmission 850 is in need of a clutch. Has anyone done this as a do it yourself project? Have heard it is a 10-12job at the shop.I have my 760 to drive so I could take my time. Was wondering if this requires many special tools and is best left to the pros. I'm a pretty decent wrench in that I can usually put back togeather what I take apart. Thanks for any advice.
