No brake lights! Any recalled? 850 1995

Bulbs are ok. But when brake was applied, no brake lights! No bulb failure warning either.

The sensor seems to be the problem. I pressed it a few times and it worked for sometimes.

What is part number and price? Is it easy to replace? I couldn't figure out how to remove it and my neck hurted for just looking at it.

Since it's a safety issue, was it recalled? I didn't know the light failure until I ran across it on a random check.
