Car Audio/Wiring harness problem, need help 850 93

due to a lil' mishap installing my aftermarket car audio system, my car audio wiring harness has become detached from the wires. When putting it back on, I realized I had more more wire than I expected. This got me to thinking, what was the extra wire I cut for? Then I remember removing a little blue piece that connected the "red" wire into another wire. Can someone please take 5 minutes and simply remove their SC-810 audio system and tell me what wires are involved in the blue "connector" located about 2 inches behind the wiring harness?
