Should I get a 2010 XC70? V70-XC70 2010

now heavily discounted in Canada.(I drive a 1990 740GL)

Would this car be as trouble free as the 740 GL.

How can a S80 with the same engine? be Recommended Buy in consumer report but this AWD not be recommended/
