Re: Windshield Sprayer stopped working V70-XC70 98

If only one stopped at first, it's just plugged. Assuming your pump still works, they're probably both just plugged now. Happens pretty easily since the spray holes are so small. Start pulling the narrow tubing off the nipples and blowing air back through the sprayers (I'm saying this in general terms, because although I've cleaned out plenty of sprayers, I have no idea how they're set up on your '98). I used my compressor with a rubber tip on the air gun. Works like a champ every time.

Bottom line though, if you can hear the pump running when you hit the sprayer (have somebody stand at the engine compartment when you turn them on, then the chances are, you can just clean the crap out of the nozzles and be on your merry way with cash still firmly in your pocket. If the pump has gone, then it's a whole different ball of wax.
