In the Hotseat V70-XC70 2001

You will need 3 things to fix the seat heater after unplugging it for now. A new heater element, new thermostat, and seat cover. All of these can be easily found at a pick&pull, but use a passenger seat for the donor (less wear).

It is going to be hard to find cloth seat covers, most V70s come with 'leather'.

The problem with moving the seat just might be the switch itself, but always check the wiring under the front edge of the seat first. From the picture, it looks like a switch from 1998 and newer will work.

C.A. is a little worse and medicated to eliminate pain. I feel so sorry for her, she did not want to go on this long.
