Fan Blower... Climate Control Unit S70 1998

Ah that's good information! I'll give it a try when I can get back out to the car. I spent the AM fixing the driver's power seat and hooking up my European turn signals. I did pull the climate control unit, checked it for obvious damage and reconnected it.

I found that with the temp set to warm, the AC comes on automatically. The various settings for the defrost, floor, inside/outside air all work and I can hear the servos and flaps moving.

I'm fairly sure the fan is not burned out. The lowest fan setting causes the fan to run at a very low speed. I get nothing at high, or on auto.

The AC constantly coming on by itself seems to indicate a busted sensor or faulty unit. I'll try that full-diagnostic/rest to test the ECC and report back later.

Thanks for the help so far. Almost everything works now.
