Alex-

96- cars have had some problems with ABS control units. The most common codes are for the rear wheel sensors and the pumpmotor. If I see a car with any of these codes, it takes the control unit to cure the problem. Changing out the rear sensors does not fix the problem. Another post on this message stated ABS/TRACS light after extended braking in the mountains. The system will calculate rotor temp and disable TRACS if it determines excessive heat buildup in the brakes.
