Cruise Control 850 1995

Still no luck. Took it to a mechanic that specializes in imports. 2 hours of diagnostic work ($150 u.s.) to tell me that the cruise control module is bad. No guarantee that will fix the problem, but can't diagnose further until the module is replaced. $370 for the part, no labor to install it. I'm going now to pick up the car, not sure about all of this. Maybe I should a) Buy a complete setup on ebay for $119, or, b) Buy a new pedal switch just to make sure that's not it c) forget the whole thing for now.

So I'm already in for $150 with the knowledge that the cruise control module is bad, but no guarantee that it will fix the cc. Don't want to invest anymore into this, but I MUST have cruise control. Nearly all of my driving is highway.

What do you all think...Klaus??? Anyone???

Keep an eye on cars.com if you're looking for a wagon!

Uuuuuggghhhh.....
