Cruise Control 850

"My 1998 needed to have the throttle housing, where the cable attaches, lubed. The CC could not maintain speed except on a flat road."

Klaus, did that actually work? I may need to try that...I always just assumed that it was a crummy cruise control system...my 88 Accord's worked better at maintaining speed than my Volvo's does.

At highway speed, mine will let off the gas on downhills, and then panic as it starts going uphill, stomp the gas, and downshift to 3rd gear, which is quite annoying and a waste of gas.
