Struts (actually shocks/springs on Volvos) are a "wear and

tear" item which is not covered unless they are less than

10 or 12k miles old. I had all 4 of my shocks go on

my 1998 V70 after 2 years. I replaced the front with

Boge and the rear with KB.

Another thing to watch out for on the 70s is the sway

bar linkages. They are notorious for going after about

a year or so. They are not cheap ($80 each) but are

easy to replace -- about a 15 minute repair.
