Nrg! Still Won't Set C70 1998

Don't get your dander up :) It is a cheap car, so far.

When the engine gets good and cold, check the SAS pump to see if it works. The pump is under the battery tray, of course, but reachable from under neath when the air guide is removed. The easiest way to check is to start the engine cold, open the hood, and grab the 1 inch air hose that goes from the air cleaner down to the pump and see if air is being pumped. Mine used to move as if the pump were gulping air.

You don't have any SAS codes, which is good. If you got rid of the EVAP code, that is also good. All three of these INCs just need a little time behind the wheel. Remember, the instructions say 'cold' engine starts.

So raise the hood, get some Gatorade, relax a little, let the block get cold, and go for another drive cycle. With a good grin :)
