No Electrical Power XC 70 V70-XC70 2002

This morning I had no electrical power in the vehicle at all. Turned key no power at all. No interior lights, no guage illumination, nothing. Tried to jump the car and even while attached to 2nd vehicle I had no power at all. Ran 2nd charging vehicle for a good 10 minutes and got nothing. Weather here in NJ has actually been warm the last few days and car had been running fine. To give you an idea of the problem, it felt as though a "Kill" switch had been activated. Any suggestions?
