Foolish Paint Job? 850 1997

I couldn't take it any more. The clear coat had failed with great speed, and was peeling off in chunks. I took it to the closest body shop, (also good mechanic, -not my Volvo shop, but speaks a little Volvo) I had the roof done, hood and spoiler (wagon) and after 8.8% tax paid $1400. They did a good job, fixed some dings, but of course I can see a couple tiny flaws here and there. I figure I will drive the car for at least a couple more years, and things are working fine on it *knock, knock, knock* 1997 189K mi. If I could only track down that dash rattle, and make the 3rd seat quiet when folded down, and I need tires. Thanks for comments.
