1999 S70 Memory Seats S70

Software is not involved, but you could have a bad switch or wire that is frayed and grounding. The plugs for the wiring are just under the front of the seat and easy to see.

If it is just the top portion of the seat moving, then I suggest you have a short in the wiring where it goes across to the motor in the right rear. Move the seat cushion to the highest position and forward. Then inspect the wiring under the rear of the seat from the back door area. A flashlight will be handy.

You cannot 'clear' the seat memories, but you can set them all to the same setting.
