flimsy exhaust pipe bracket V70-XC70 2004

Hello, I must disagree with you Klaus. The bracket material is woefully cheap as it rots away all the time on many cars. The bracket at my rear axle was gone and the exhaust system was hanging-bowing-down. The rubber insulaters were no where to be seen. We don't mind maintaining our cars but this needless condition hastens the demise of our exhaust systems. EVERY Camry, for example, on the road has a bowing exhaust system due to the same hanger being rusted away. Perhaps it's a type of Swedish steel which welds or brazes onto exhaust tubing with minimal heat damage. I have friends from Sweden coming in two days. I'll ask them about it. Kira
