My door key lock is possessed! 850 1996

I think that possibly you may have a sticky or rusty linkage on the back side of the lock cylinder, you could try lubricating the lock cylinder through the key hole but you may need to remove the door panel to get at the linkage. I would recomend a lubricant called TRI-FLOW which is a teflon based spray and is available at hardware stores, it leaves a teflon coating which lasts much longer than wd-40. I have been a university locksmith over 22 years and we use triflow as our only lubricant.

good luck, Bob
