850 seat rattle, driving me nuts! 850 1995

Hi Guys,
I have had my 95 850 wagon for about 6 months, and it is fantastic. However, last week I put something large in the rear cargo area. I unclipped the back seat and folded it slightly forward.
Then, when I try to put the seat back into position, it does not “Seat”(no pun intended).
It has about ½ of an inch of ‘play’ and makes a terrible rattle.
There are tons of postings about the rear tailgate rattling, but this is the second seat behind the drivers seat.
I even got out the manual to read about how to lock the seat back into the right position, and I got nothing.

Am I missing something obvious?
