I got a similar damage to my 99 V70 na (damage is below the door handle); but my airbags were not deployed. after push door panel out a bit, the glass can be lowered more than halfway. Though a used door does not cost a lot, I decided not to bother replacing it since I worry that a replacement door may not fit well due to the damage to the door frame. I have been driving my v70 with a dented door for a few years. Seems there is no ill effect. :-)
