Skid Plates/Oil Pan Protection 850 1997

Any one have any experience with Skid Plates?? I have found two that interest me for a 97 850 GLT. IPD vs SPG9.

The IPD concerns me as it has those large holes cut into them. Debris can still get through. Also, rather large price tag $200.

SPG9 thinks that their application will fit the 850 but are exactly sure. This is a sold sheet of steel 1/8 inch thick. I like this one better. Also, the price is $100.

Anyone with experience with either of these or further suggestions please let us know.
