Upper shock mount?? XC70

HI,
WE were just pulling out of the driveway on a wkend get-away when I heard a clunk coming from the rear suspension. Very very loud when crossing the cattleguard & less so on pavement.
3 months ago I noticed this slight noise but this XC 70 being my wife`s car I mentioned that she should get it looked at fairly soon. Aparently, this did not happen!!
So, to the dealer this week. What will this set me back? Does this sound like a
shock mount? I hate to self diagnose?
