Evaporator replacement? V70-XC70

This is one heck of a job. You will want to reinforce the dash mounts as is explained on Volvospeed.com and replace all of the O rings for the heater hoses. Consider replacing the the engine to firewall hoses.

The heater core is easily changed out at a later date if there is no apparent damage.

Change all of the light bulbs in the instrument cluster.

Before you start this long process, have you verified that the leak is in the evaporator and not somewhere else, like the accumulator/drier? That unit will also be replaced when the AC system is put back together.
