It happened AGAIN!! V70-XC70 2001

In 1977, on the last day of school, we took the kids to our favorite Mexican restaurant in Havelock,
North Carolina, «El Mejicano». I was driving our 69 164, with about 100,000 miles on it
and when we drove into the parking place we hit the block at the end of the spot (there to keep
drivers from parking against the building) and heard a rather loud noise, along with a drop of a few
inches at the right front. Ooops! Broken ball joint!
Today, almost the last day of school here in Bartlesville, we were driving our 2001 V70T5 into the parking lot of the Monterey restaurant and at the place where the driveway joins the street, we heard a noise, and felt the car drop on the right side - OOooops! Broken ball joint. But I believe that this one had been replaced some 20,000 miles back or so. At least I have a couple old ones in a box in my garage.
I wonder if this has something to do with the last day of school.....
