I agree, Ray.

I think that XGT V4s are very nice tires, but they are not for long mileage. I have the Pilot MXMs (Z-rated) on my R, I have 20,800 miles and I doubt I will be able to go over 25,000 on this set (I they have been rotated every 10,000 miles).

I have tried the Supersports twice but not on a Volvo. I have tried them on a '92 Subaru SVX (AWD) and on a '93 Ford Probe GT. Great tire but I did not like the amount of road noise that I got.

When mine go, I plan to get the Bridgestone RE730s as I have known three poeple who have them (two have Volvos one has an Acura Legend) and all three speak very favorably. Plus, I can get them from TireRack for about $85 a piece.
