Hi,
My wife just called after picking her XC. No, the rear shocks are not nivomats just conventional Sachs/Boge. I`m not sure what the breakdown is in parts/labor but to replace just the one side is almost $500.
I called down to an indie Volvo shop in Montana & they quoted me just a little over $400 to replace both rear shocks, OEM. Looks like we`ll take a trip to MT in June & I`ll have the work done there.
