Re: CD Changer Trunk Install - Cable Routing! 850 93

Jeff,

I installed an s620 in my '93 and pretty much did it as John O described. With an s620, you CAN get a head unit adapter from sounddomain.com http://www.sounddomain.com/shopping/shop_input_menu.cgi?type_plural=CD+Changer+Interface+Adapters that will allow you to just plug right into the head unit and get power as well. Pretty simple, really. The plastic sills pretty much just snap right up so it's easy.

As for mounting under the deck, I didn't bother doing that since I couldn't find an even area either. Some people have drilled up through the rear shelf to mount, but I just went the easy route. I took some velcro and just stuck the hook side to the bottom of the player and stuck the player to the felt matting inside. Works just fine and the CD player doesn't slide around or anything. The downside is that it makes it easier to steal, but hey, it's in the trunk.

Hope it helps

John
